A peek into some unreal moments from our semesters abroad in Lisbon and Barcelona!

JKIM:

Lisboa will always have a special place in my heart now. From the pastel de natas, beaches, seafood, Chiado, and of course, K-Urban, amongst many others, these four months of my junior year are ones I will never forget. Lisbon has its own unique charm and exploring it all was so much fun--especially with the friends we made. Not only was being in a new city an interesting experience, but being able to travel all over Europe was something I will never get over. The places I got to see include: Algarve, Porto, Ibiza, Madeira, Madrid, Barcelona, Paris, London, and Marrakech.

MMH: Ibiza, Amsterdam, Paris, London, Dublin…it was hard not to love them all. It sounds cliché to say, but studying abroad really was the time of my life. In those four months, I traveled Europe, met new people, and learned and grew as a person in so many different ways. I am so grateful for my experiences, and can wholeheartedly recommend for anyone lucky enough to get to go abroad to take advantage of every opportunity when you’re there, as they will make for unforgettable, lifelong memories. My main base was Barcelona, Spain, where I was studying in a Spanish-immersion program at Universitat Pomeu Fabra (UPF). I felt that Barcelona was a great city to study abroad in, as it was easy to get around, had amazing weather, great people and food, rich culture, and was right by the beach. Needless to say, I was very content with my decision to study there. Words are more boring than pictures, so scroll through below to see all my travel pics from study abroad!

That's all for now!

XO,

JKIM & MMH
