Chelsea Kramer has been on the rise with not only her content on TikTok but also with her clothing company: Parke.
There is no doubt that you have stumbled across her videos and/or someone wearing her iconic "Parke" mock neck sweatshirt. I remember stumbling across the Miami-based creator's videos and thinking "I love her outfits." I followed her then and there without knowing those cute criss-cross front white denim shorts were her design. I loved her beach-chic style and it was very indicative of what I wanted to achieve for the summer. What stood out to me and continues to draw me to her style, is the color palette of her outfits and the mix of different textures: from denim, linen, crochet, etc.
Chelsea has been getting a lot of traction on her page, as she should. Her time-stamped daily vlogs seem to be giving everyone some inspiration. I love the peek into her life and the peek into her business.
The success she's been having with Parke makes me so happy because I feel like through her TikTok, we've all been able to witness the growth. I think that plays a factor in the rise of Parke -- we are all now attached.
When I think of Parke, I think of essential basics, elevated denim, and cozy loungewear. I think that Parke is smart in the way they drop collections in small batches. It shows the authenticity of the brand and that Chelsea is very particular about what she releases. It continues to highlight that she and her team truly do love what they put in the collections. There are also staples within each collection with small changes in detail. The aesthetic that the brand socials has curated also shows the vision of Parke and the vibe it encapsulates. All of this creates a strong brand identity.
The first time I saw the mock-neck crewneck, I was intrigued because it was something simple, but something I hadn't seen before. Since the first version I saw, the Parke team has continued to release different versions of it: varieties in color and logo. This is also the same with the denim offerings. There are small details that make their products stand out amongst others: horseshoe shape, crisscross front, cut of the mini length, etc. The strategic moves of Parke and their selective pieces are what differentiate the brand from others. With the perfect balance of Chelsea's personal style, her rise in TikTok virality, and the culmination of a smart team behind the brand, Parke can be successful and seems to have nothing but growth in their future.
Additionally, there is the factor of "unisex." I think in the world we live in today, inclusivity is vital. With Parke, we see this, particularly with the infamous sweatshirts and hoodies. In Chelsea's videos, we can see her boyfriend continuously supporting her brand and wearing pieces from it. This leads to girls all over the world buying the pieces for their significant others as well--a smart and differentiating move.
Chelsea Kramer, it-girl, has created one of the best it-girl brands, from the roots of authenticity, stylish simplicity, and inclusivity. I think everyone should go visit their website, possibly purchase (what's going to be) your new favorite wardrobe piece, and give Chelsea and her team a follow because they will not disappoint!
